Your practice stays with you.

What we collect
Nothing. The Briefing Room has no sign-up, no login, no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. We do not receive your name, email, answers or scores.
Your progress
Your points, medals, streak and review list are saved only in your own browser (local storage) on your device. We cannot see them. Another browser, or the browser inside the YouTube app, keeps its own separate record. You can delete your record any time on the Progress tab, or by clearing your browser data.
Your voice
When you use Speak, your recording stays in your browser's memory on your device. It is never uploaded, never saved to storage, and it disappears when you move to the next sentence or close the page. There is no speech recognition, so your voice is never sent to us or to any other company. Your browser asks for microphone permission first, and you can say no.
YouTube videos
Episode pages show a picture of the video first. Nothing loads from YouTube until you tap play. When you tap play, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google's privacy policy applies to that video.
Hosting
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may keep basic technical logs, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. We do not receive these logs. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.
Changes
If we ever add something new, such as an email newsletter, we will update this page first and explain what it collects.
